16. Edition der EDQM-Leitlinie zu Gewinnung, Gebrauch und Qualitätssicherung von Blutkomponenten erschienen

Vor Kurzem hat die EDQM die 16. Edition des "Guide to the Preparation, Use and Quality Assurance of Blood Components" veröffentlicht. Eine Arbeitsgruppe mit 32 Vertretern aus 28 Ländern erstellte diese überarbeitete Version, die eine Zusammenstellung von Maßnahmen enthält, die die Qualität, Sicherheit und Wirksamkeit von Blutkomponeneten sicherstellen sollen. Die Leitlinie ist von Relevanz für alle Einrichtungen im Bereich der Transfusionsmedizin, wie Spendezentren und Krankenhäuser, aber auch für die zuständigen Kontrollbehörden.
