15 Einreichungen für den Wallhäußer Innovation Award

Wie bereits vor einiger Zeit berichtet, wurde der seit Jahren bekannte Prof. Wallhäußer Preis neu ausgerichtet, denn Themen wie Nachhaltigkeit, Kosteneffizienz und der Einsatz von künstlicher Intelligenz werden die pharmazeutische Produktion und die pharmazeutische Technologie maßgeblich beeinflussen. Mit dem neuen Prof. Wallhäußer Innovation Award sollen zukünftig  Projekte oder technische Lösungen ausgezeichnet werden, die sich durch Innovationskraft auszeichnen und/oder optimierte praktische Lösungen für die Zukunft bieten. Preisträger können sowohl Einzelpersonen als auch eine Gruppe von Personen, eine Organisation oder ein Unternehmen sein.

Für den Wallhäußer Innovationspreis, der mit 5.000 Euro dotiert ist, wurden in diesem Jahr 15 Einreichungen übermittelt, aus denen ein 13-köpfiges Komitee einen Preisträger ermittelt. Eingereicht wurden in diesem Jahr die folgenden Vorschläge:

• "Efficient identification of microorganisms for aseptic production with an innovative software tool: LS-pedia", Labor LS SE & Co. KG
• "Optimized surfaces for apparatus and containers in pharmaceutical, food and process engineering", Bolz Intec GmbH,
• " Wireless, battery-free sensors that transmit product temperature data in real time during the freeze drying process", Tempris GmbH,
• "Sustainabillity and Energy Optimisation in New Laboratory and Manufacturing Buildings",Microcoat Biotechnologie GmbH:
• "Rapid assessment of the stability and viability of proteins, peptides and other biopolymers"., Yokogawa Deutschland GmbH
• "Omnia - A smart and modular software solution not only makes the machine system IoT-capable - a central platform", Bausch+Ströbel SE + Co. KG 
•  "Multifunctional Single Use block solutions GEMÜ SUMONDO Multiports", GEMÜ Gebr. Müller Apparatebau GmbH & Co. KG

Die Preisverleihung erfolgt im Rahmen des PharmaCongress 2024 am 19/20. März in Wiesbaden, der auch in diesem Jahr rund 100 Vorträge aus den Bereichen pharmazeutische/Biopharmazeutische Herstellung, Pharmatechnik, Qualitätssicherung und Qualitätskontrolle bietet.
